Shakespeare, who died almost as an unknown entity in his own country 400 years ago today, has impacted western culture more than any other person. His works, along with the King James bible, molded us into the people we have become.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is one of the few theaters world-wide to have produced all 38 known plays by Shakespeare. The troupe continues to produce several works each year at both its main stage in Madison on the Drew University campus and the outdoor Greek-like amphitheater at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown. Check out its upcoming season beginning May 11 here.

More Shakespeare news, reviews, tidbits, amusing incidents, etc., will be posted here on a regular basis.
