The winners of the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards were announced May 20 in New York. Hosted by Megan Hilty and Zachary Levi, the event took place at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.

The Distinguished Performance Award can only be won once in an actor’s career, according to the Drama League’s website, so there should be no doubt who would take it home in 2016, as presented by Audra McDonald:  Lin-Manuel Miranda for “Hamilton”

Production award winners also announced

  • Outstanding Production of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play: The Humans

  • Outstanding Revival of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play: A View from the Bridge
